A check of the Balzer 1857 census of Households 43 in 1850 and 44 in 1857 shows the surname to be ZIEG not Tseg or Czeg. .The Balzer census has Conrad&39;s name as Philipp and his death in 1850. (that bit is not terribly important as it can be readily grasped by anyone looking at the Balzer 1850/57 Census).
